As I write this, I am in some unknown airspace between Aberdeen, Scotland and Frankfurt, Germany with a lovely German beer in hand. Danke schön for delicious Warsteiner and kind hostesses! Provided I make my one-hour connection in Europe’s largest airport, I should be in Singapore tomorrow just in time for dinner and a view. 🙂
Seeing as I still have about 14 hours of flying time left, this seems like a good time to lay out a quick plan of what to expect over the next couple months of adventure ahead. In the end, it will probably be a big surprise to both you and myself as to what will actually happen on the day and what will happen with all the unplanned time in between, but that’ll just add to the mystery of adventure!

Well folks, it’s official. I wrote my very first blog post! I don’t think it would feel quite complete without a photo, though. So here’s me succumbing to the pressure of buying a selfie stick, flailing it about aimlessly, and attempting to grab a nice picture of me and all my stuff when I left my flat in Aberdeen. Next, a photo of my yummy airplane beer!
